DO activate before use. DWETS filter MUST be wet thoroughly in order to activate the filter technology. Drinking before the filter is properly activated and wet through can lead to unfiltered water passing through the filter.
NOTE: some carbon granules may be visible, however they are not harmful.
DO reactivate in the same way if the filter has stood for a period of time as the filter may become dry and lead to unfiltered water passing through.
DO ensure proper connection. DWETS filters can only filter water that passes through the filter.
DO NOT let contaminated water come into contact with any DWETS components where filtered water is released as this will lead to cross contamination.
DO NOT squeeze DWETS products with force. Using extreme force can create pressure that forces unfiltered water to pass through the filter.
DO NOT place in dishwasher. DWETS products are not dishwasher safe, and in all cases, remove the filter before handwashing!
DO NOT use from salt-water sources!
